There's no real in-character reason to return to the same building you looted at the beginning of your trip to an airfield other than abusing the loot respawn timer in hopes of getting more loot.

In my opinion, loot cycling is a pretty straight forward thing and you'll, 9 times out of 10, know you're doing it. JavaScript is disabled. it can spawn any random military loot, but also loot which is exclusive to the heli crash sites like the fal, svd and vss, ghillies, drummags for the akm or the airborne mask. This also complements the whole system of better loot being inland, since the coast is densely populated, poor loot will constantly be spawning there due to the loot spots resetting more often.
